Winter, Water, and the Desire in Stillness

Hello from a crisp, clear, cold Vermont, where winter can feel like a freezeframe of the ever-flowing cycles of life. Yet within stillness lies the movement of desire, the promise that life is ever-emerging and evolving into something new. The trees stand tall, yet hunker in to their buried roots and dream of spring growth. Even as lakes and streams are encased in ice, the groan of becoming is palpable. It is generally a good time to take a break from the busy-ness of life and become more intimate, more engaged, with our inner landscape, our roots, our subconscious, our true and unique self. Its a good time to take measure of our innate talents, abilities, and potential gifts as well as the frozen ruts of habituated perception that may be steering us away from the road to fulfillment, joy, and vitality.

A Zero Balancing session often facilitates a state of profound inner stillness. The skilled conscious touch and attention offered through Zero Balancing creates a kinesthetic, perceptual opening in the receiver. EEG studies show that recipients of ZB show amplified brain wave patterns as seen in meditative states, both during and after a session. As a client drops through the door of stillness into the fields of their body’s inner landscape, they often relax into states of vitality, peace, motivation, self-awareness, mental clarity, emotional balance, and unity. This sublime atmosphere of calm, grounded, yet expanded being seems to have been waiting within, available but not fully accessible beneath the tension patterns of stresses, strains, and struggles held in the body tissues. This is what is meant when we say ZB connects a person to their whole and unique self. Research shows that ZB results in mental clarity, emotional regulation, physical comfort, spiritual connectedness, better sleep, the ability to find new and creative solutions to life’s challenges, cognitive improvement, unitive experiences and more. So much potential for a person to become the full expression of their best self resides in a clear and strong flow of energy and information through the structural/energetic systems of the body.

To paraphrase a popular saying, “A session is worth a thousand words.” To know what ZB can do for you, try a session! It is a body-felt experience carried within you even after the session is over. Each session is directed by the innate, natural, developmental process of your own body’s wisdom. It is less about having something done to you, more about this experience of sinking deeper into the true nature of yourself, acknowledging and feeling and living from that reality . ZB changes lives. And it feels fantastic! To find a certified ZB practitioner near you click the link below to the ZB website practitioner search page and enter your town or zip code.
